Settle in above the pub in one of our upstairs rooms. Each is kept crisp and comfortable, giving travellers a quiet spot to unwind after a day on the Darling Downs. We offer Double Rooms for couples and solo guests, plus Family Rooms with a little extra space for those journeying together.

Stay at the Hotel

Staying on-site means everything is right at your doorstep. Good food, a friendly bar, and a proper night's sleep, all under the one historic roof. There's a spacious parking area set aside for hotel patrons, so you can settle in without any fuss. And if you're travelling with a caravan or tent, you are welcome to make use of the free camping out the back.
O'Shanley's has something happening right through the year, and there's always a reason to stick around.

  • Sensational Saturdays — live music and karaoke from 7 pm til late
  • Southern Downs Railway — arrive in style aboard a historic steam train from Warwick to Clifton
  • New Year's Eve — fancy dress and live music to see out the year
  • New Year's Day — a well-earned recuperation day
  • Australia Day — a family day beginning with Tug Of War, Aussie food, fun and games, sometimes with an Irish twist.
  • Finnegans Wake — a quirky, street parade held on the first Saturday of March featuring a whimsical funeral procession—complete with Finnegan in his coffin, Pope, Priests, weeping widow, and naughty nuns—followed by an all-day festival of Irish music, Guinness, and Irish pub fare.
  • St Patrick's Day — green beer and live music on 17 March, with celebrations continuing over the nearest weekend
