O'Shanley's Irish Pub
Good craic, great food, cold pints, and a warm welcome — that's O'Shanley's.
A Little Piece of
Ireland in Australia
O'Shanley's Irish Pub is an Irish-themed country pub in the historic town of Clifton, out on the Darling Downs in Queensland. The hotel first opened its doors back in 1899, and it's carried the character of the town ever since. In 2003, Fletch and Kathleen O'Shanley took the place and set about creating their own little piece of Ireland in Australia. Locals know it fondly as "The Irish", and it has grown into a genuine hub of the community.
Good Food, Good Drinks & Irish Craic
Step inside and you'll be met with good old-fashioned country hospitality and plenty of Irish craic. Ice-cold Guinness and Kilkenny pour freely at the bar, and the kitchen serves up traditional Irish fare alongside honest classic pub meals. It's the kind of spot where friendly staff, lovable locals, and a bit of Irish music make conversation come easy. Everyone is welcome here.
More Than a Pub
There's plenty more to discover at O'Shanley's. Rest up in our upstairs accommodation, relax in the outdoor eating areas, or catch live music and events throughout the year. Travellers will find on-site parking with room for RVs, and a drive-thru Bottle-O makes grabbing a takeaway drop easy on your way through. Pets are welcome too.
